About
CEFI is the European Association of Chicory Inulin Producers. The CEFI members stand for a sustainable cultivation of chicory as a source of chicory root fibres.
The CEFI members cooperate on regulatory topics in the area of health, nutrition and sustainability both in the EU and in other regions. We work with public as well as private organizations, notably European institutions. Additionally we also work with international bodies and stakeholders such as raw material suppliers, interested industry users and civil society. All with a view to ensuring a favourable business environment.
This website aims to provide information on chicory root fibres’ health and nutritional benefits to food companies and nutrition and health professionals.
